TORONTO, ONTARIO – Tuesday September 28th, 2021, at a rally in front of Queen’s Park starting at noon, ODSP Action Coalition will present the results of their survey in the form of a report card for which over a thousand respondents, including many people with disabilities, were asked to grade different aspects of the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP).
The list of speakers/performers will include voices of lived experience of disability and poverty, MPPs and other advocates, including allies from Ontario Disability Coalition. We are calling on the Ontario government to immediately raise social assistance rates which have been frozen since 2018 and remain 40-50% below the poverty line
